About Me
	I am a 65 yr old grandma and I need something to make me feel productive. I am an avid do it myself person. If I can make it cheaper and better, then I do. This is a hobby that I really enjoy. I'm not trying to get rich making candles and such. I just want to get a discount on the products that I make for myself! I have always enjoyed burning candles, wax melts and incense sticks. About 6 years ago, I decided that I wanted to make my own. So, I researched it and also got deep into soaps and gift baskets too. Now I have a handsome man in my life that has a gator tail swamp boat. So, I don't have time for the soaps and gift baskets anymore. I have been a yardsaleaholic for 40+ years. I pick up containers to make candles in when I find them cheap at yard sales. That saves me and my customers money. My friends and family return some of the containers so I can clean them and use them again. I started making my own laundry detergent and fabric softener about 15 years ago after reading about what was actually in the store-bought products. I make my own for about 1/3 the cost of store-bought products and my skin does not break out like it did years ago. And, I am keeping plastics out of the landfills. Recently, I read up on what is actually in our store-bought bread and stopped buying it. I got a bread machine and now make all of my own breads, buns and rolls.
